EMU: Consumer Confidence rises to -22.3 in April
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -22.3 in April, from -23.5 in March, the European Commission reported on Wednesday. This result is in line with market consensus.
Eurozone Business Climate fell to -0.93 in April, from -0.75 in March, below expectations of a decrease to -0.89.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator slid to 88.6 from 90.0 and below forecasts of declining to 89.3.
Industrial Confidence decline accelerated from -12.3 to -13.8, below expectations of -13.5. Services Sentiment dropped to -11.1 from -7.0 and below market consensus of -7.0.
